Before I discovered production design, my early years were filled with art, influencing how I see colour and space to convey emotion. I started painting at 10, but it was at university where my interests in painting, architecture, and graphic design came together, leading me to filmmaking.
I worked as a PA and prop maker during my studies and I enjoyed creating detailed worlds in my student projects, which impressed producers during a workshop and landed me my first job as an Art Director.
For the last five years, I've led the art and costume department working on film, theatre, TV, and commercial projects. I am a member of the Production Designers Collective and I’ve attended masterclasses and courses around Europe from esteemed designers K.K Barrett, Claire Nia Richards, Adorjan Portik and David McHenry.
When I'm not designing, I enjoy filmmaking and editing because storytelling is at the heart of why I work within the film, TV, and theatre scene. I’m currently in development for my feature film ‘Lemon Coloured Oranges’.
